REVIEWING WEEK SEVEN

Defenses were the story around the league last weekend, as teams held opponents to just 17, 13 and 7 points, respectively. Trine and Albion won handily as Hope gritted out a 12-point victory over Adrian.

LOOKING AT WEEK EIGHT

Adrian will have the bye in this weekend's round of MIAA games. Trine and Albion highlight the schedule with a matchup in Albion, Hope travels to Alma while Olivet is back on their home turf, hosting a struggling Kalamazoo squad.

WHAT'S AT STAKE

Heading into the season, it was apparent that Albion, Hope and Trine would be fighting for the top spot in the conference. This weekend's matchup highlights that, as Trine and Albion will battle for second place in the MIAA. The playoff race will continue to have implications on all three teams, as Albion and Trine will play undefeated Hope in the final two weeks of the season.
