GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Despite a close battle, the Albion College volleyball team was swept by No. 14 Calvin University, 3-0. Chloe Webber had a stellar night for the Britons, recording a team-high 11 kills while attacking at a .714 clip.

With the score tied at 19, Calvin used a late run to secure the first set. The Knights went on a 6-2 run, taking the first set 25-21.

The story was all Calvin in the second set, as the 14th ranked Knights pulled away from the Britons, 25-15.

The third set was very similar to the first, with the game going back and forth and neither team finding momentum until late in the set. Calvin capitalized on Albion attack errors down the stretch, securing both the third set and the match.

Junior libero Jenna Khoury had 15 digs in the loss. Albion struggled at the net, swinging at just a .034 percentage.

Albion drops its first game of the season, moving to 3-1 overall.

The Brits will be back on their home court on Wednesday when they host Alma College. The match is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.
