HOLLAND, Mich. -- In the MIAA Semifinals, the Albion College volleyball team was swept by Hope College, 3-0. Albion falls into the consolation bracket, and will host Alma on Saturday for third place.

Chloe Webber led the Britons with 10 kills on the evening. Both Kaylynne Nicholson and Jenna Khoury racked up eight digs, while Grace VanDorn dished out 12 assists.

Though the Britons dropped a tight first set 25-23, Hope held all of the momentum for the remainder of the match. The Flying Dutch secured the middle set with a 25-19 victory and took the final set 25-15.

Albion finished with a poor .101 hitting percentage -- including 20 errors.

The Britons will host Alma for third place on Saturday morning for a 10 a.m. match.
