Knitter ties for fourth in Alma

ALMA, Mich. – With a 315, the Albion College men's golf team took fifth at the second MIAA Jamboree of the season. Freshman Ryan Knitter finished tied for fourth with a team-low of 73.

Junior Brendan Iatrow was next for the Britons with a 77 on the day. Two strokes behind Iatrow was Blake Wagner, carding a 79.

With an 86, Zach Kapuga was fourth on the team, while Holden Kile totaled a 90.

Competing as individuals, Dom Orlando (89) and Vaughn Rogers (94) were on the course for Albion.

A week from Saturday, the Britons will play in the third MIAA Jamboree of the fall. It will be hosted by Adrian College at the Tecumseh Golf Club.
