Gurzell rolled to a 6-2, 6-1 win at first singles. At second singles, Morrison dropped a tough match in a heartbreaker (7-6 (3), 3-6, 8-10).

Malcolm got the Britons back on track with a 6-3, 6-1 win at third singles. With a score of 6-1, 6-0, Josh Doyle picked up the win at fourth singles. His brother, Jacob, also won his singles match – a 6-4, 6-0 mark at fifth singles.
