MLAX cruises to win in Alma

ALMA, Mich. – Four 4-goal efforts saw the Albion College men's lacrosse team handily defeat Alma College, 27-9, in their regular season final. The Britons wrap up the regular season with a 12-4, 5-1 overall record and secure the No. 2 seed in next week's MIAA Tournament. 

Gerald Haadsma, Ethan Rottell, Jace Conley and Sam Puzevic all tallied four goals in the win for the Brits. Conley led all scorers with eight total points while Puzevic added six. 

14 different players scored a goal in the win. 

Albion cruised to a 10-2 lead after the first quarter to remain in total control for the remainder of the contest. 

Haadsma was an efficient 19 of 27 from the face off X while picking up 15 ground balls. 

On Wednesday, Albion will host No. 3 seed Adrian College in the MIAA Semifinals. Game time begins at 7 p.m.
