Natschke collects eighth clean sheet of season

ADRIAN, Mich. – A solid performance in goal from Romee Natschke was a key part of the Albion College women's soccer team's 0-0 tie at Adrian College. This marks Natschke's eighth shutout of the season. 

Albion had a chance to get on the board early in the contest, but the ball hit the post as the Brits were unable to capitalize. The Britons had just three corner kicks – all coming in the first half, unable to get a good look on any.

The clean sheet was a bright spot for the Britons, playing a young and inexperienced back line. Anchored by senior captain Quinn Natschke, freshmen Olivia Ahlgren and Brooke McNab, along with traditional midfielders Avery Kasanic and Grace Halstead did a solid job. 

Natschke made eight saves for the Brits. 

On Saturday, the Britons play their final road game of the regular season when they head to Trine for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
