Campbell scores on the road

ANGOLA, Ind. – Avery Campbell provided the lone goal in the Albion College women's soccer team's 1-1 tie at Trine University. With one game remaining, the Britons are 4-1-10 overall. 

In the 11th minute, Campbell scored her team-leading sixth goal of the season. The unassisted strike beat the Trine keeper to the lower left corner of the net, pushing the visitors out in front early on.

Trine netted the equalizer in the 26th minute, as the two teams would remain locked at one goal each for the remainder of the match. 

Romee Natschke totaled five saves in net. 

The Thunder held a significant edge in shots (18-8).

On Tuesday, Albion wraps up the regular season when they host nationally-ranked Calvin. Prior to the match, the Brits will honor seniors Colette Askins, Abby Rose, Quinn Natschke and Avery Campbell. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
