Tennis falls to Spring Arbor

SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – Taking on an incredibly tough Spring Arbor team, the Albion College men's and women's tennis teams fell on Wednesday afternoon. The men's team dropped a 6-3 decision, while the women were dropped 9-0.

At first doubles, Josh Doyle and Jacob Doyle earned a 6-0 win. Following it up at second doubles with a 6-2 victory was Drake Malcolm and Brendan Morrison. Rounding out doubles action, Jacob Kubiak and Peyton Bell won by a score of 6-4.

The Cougars went on to win all six singles matches.

On the women's side, Spring Arbor was dominant in both doubles and singles play. Senior Keiley Black put together a solid match at third singles, despite falling 6-2, 6-4.

Both teams wrap up fall action with matches against CUAA on Saturday.
