OBERLIN, Ohio — Back after a 10 day hiatus, the Albion College men's basketball team fell to Oberlin College, 79-69.
Sophomore
Nathan Steinman netted a career-best 21 points, shooting 8 of 14 from the floor, including going 75 percent from three.
AJ Barden added 20 points for Albion, grabbing a team-best seven rebounds.
Oberlin grabbed an early lead, but Albion trimmed it to single digits before the half. Going into the break, the Yeomen held a 31-27 lead, as buckets from Barden and
Marco Lucchesi helped Albion get back to striking distance.
Out of halftime, Oberlin went on a run and never looked back. The Brits were just unable to overcome the deficit, as OC escaped with the win.
In addition to his 21 points, Steinman recorded five assists.
The Brits will be idle until their game on Dec. 16 in California.
