MBB stumbles on the road

ANGOLA, Ind. – The Albion College men's basketball team suffered a 65-41 setback at Trine University on Wednesday evening. Only one Briton finished in double figures as the Thunder dominated from start to finish. 

Fred Garland led Albion with 11 points. Albion shot just 38 percent from the floor, and did not make a 3-pointer in the loss. 

As a team, Albion committed 24 turnovers leading to 27 Trine points. 

On the other end, Trine was 42.9 percent from the floor and connected on 26 percent of its shots from deep. 

The Britons will host Kalamazoo on Saturday. Game time is at 1 p.m.
