Greenville knocks off men's tennis

ALBION – Facing off against a tough Greenville team, the Albion College men's tennis team dropped an 8-1 decision to the Panthers on Saturday afternoon.

Freshmen Jacob and Josh Doyle won at third doubles, giving the Brits their lone win of the day. The duo picked up an 8-6 victory in their match. At second doubles, Albion lost a tight decision in a breaker, as Drake Malcolm and Brendan Morrison were narrowly edged out, 8-7 (7-4).

The Panthers took all six singles matches in the match. At fourth singles, Josh Doyle put together a great match, dropping 4-6, 7-5, 10-3.

On Wednesday, Albion hosts Spring Arbor for its final tune up before spring break. The match commences at 4 p.m.
