Men's golf wraps up spring slate

WOOSTER, Ohio – Despite rains shortening the tournament to 27 holes, the Albion College men's golf team placed eighth at the Nye Invitational over the weekend.

Freshman Ryan Knitter led the way for Albion, shooting 82 on Saturday followed by a 40 over nine holes on Sunday, for a 122. Two strokes behind him was classmate Blake Wagner, scoring a 83 - 41 – 124.

Joey Maniaci shot an 88 followed by a 41 for a 129 on the weekend. Brendan Iatrow (134) and Dom Orlando (143) rounded out the young Albion squad.

This concludes the spring season for the Britons, as Monday's tournament has been canceled.
