Women's golf ties for fourth in first MIAA Jamboree

JACKSON, Mich. – In the first MIAA Jamboree of the season, the Albion College women's golf team tied for fourth, shooting a 347 on the day. 

Sophomore Helen Buk paced Albion with a 43-40 – 83. One stroke behind her was Kenzie Gillette, shooting a 43-41 – 84. Emily Abramczyk carded a 47-40 – 87 to be the third Briton in the lineup.

Rounding out the team was Taylore Wilson's 49-44 – 93 and Sabrina Fitzgerald's 50-50 – 100.

Three Britons competed as individuals Thursday afternoon. Miranda McKee led the way with a 49-52 – 101. Next up was sophomore Zoe Autore with a 50-54 – 104, as Riley McKinney ended the day with a 54-55 – 109. 

RESULTS: Saint Mary's (326), Adrian (333), Calvin (339), Albion (347), Trine (347), Hope (351), Olivet (378) 

Albion will head to Heidelberg this weekend for a two-day tournament, beginning on Saturday.
