Abramczyk records career-low at Heidelberg

The senior shot a 76 on Saturday.

FOSTORIA, Ohio – On Sunday, the Albion College women's golf team wrapped up a two-day event with a ninth place finish, carding a 683 as a team. In Saturday's round, senior Emily Abramczyk shot a career-low 76.

Abramczyk led the Britons with a 76-82–158, good for 12th overall. Next for the Britons was Kenzie Gillette with an 85-84–169, followed by Helen Buk's 88-84–172.

Sabrina Fitzgerald and Taylore Wilson turned in identical scorecards, as they each shot a 91-93–184 on the weekend.

Abramczyk also won the Berg's closest to the pin competition on Saturday afternoon.

Albion will be idle until Sep. 27 when they compete in the second MIAA Jamboree, hosted by Calvin University. Tee times are set for 1 p.m.
