Record setting day for women's golf at MIAA #2

The Brits shot their second best round in team history.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – After another solid round, the Albion College women's golf team placed fourth at the second MIAA Jamboree of the season. As a team, the Britons shot a 329 – their best round of the season and believed to be the second best in school history.

Emily Abramczyk led Albion with a 78 on the afternoon, tied for third overall. Senior Kenzie Gillette also recorded a season-best score, finishing with an 81. The incredible days continued across the board, as freshman Taylore Wilson registered an 83.

With an 87, Helen Buk was the fourth Brit to compete, while Sabrina Fitzgerald's 90 rounded out the team scoring.

Albion will compete again on Saturday at the third MIAA Jamboree of the season.
