Women fourth, men fifth in fall finale

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Albion College men's and women's golf teams wrapped up their fall slates on Monday afternoon at the Kalamazoo Fall Invitational. The women's team finished fourth with a score of 365, as the men's side took fifth, carding a 327.

Leading the women's team was senior Miranda McKee's 88. Three freshmen made up the next spots in the Briton lineup, with Gabriella Davis's 91, Aubrie Schaibly's 92 and Marissa Genske's 94. Taylore Wilson's 99 was the final score of the lineup.

Ryan Knitter – the MIAA Golfer of the Week – led the team with an 80, taking 18th overall. Both Bradley Davis and Blake Wagner shot an 81, while Camden Paul recorded an 85. Rounding out the team was freshman Alex Olmsted with an 87.

Both teams will resume action in the spring.
