Volleyball drops conference match

Box Score NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Struggling to find any rhythm, the Albion College volleyball team fell in straight sets to Saint Mary's College.

Freshman right side Bri Whitfield led the Britons with nine kills. She was joined by Kayda Herrick's seven kills to pace the offense, adding three blocks defensively. With 16 assists, Joelle Boeskool led the setters, as Molly Edmunds recorded 11 assists.

Defensively, Paige Williamson picked up 19 digs in the loss.

Albion finished hitting just .085 for the night, committing 24 errors in the loss.

Albion wraps up the regular season on Friday with a match against Adrian. The Brits will host the Bulldogs for a 7 p.m. start.
