Game Recap: Men's Basketball |

MBB drops Kentucky finale

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Another poor shooting night hurt the Albion College men's basketball team in a 63-47 loss to Mary Hardin Baylor on Sunday. 

In the first half, the Crusaders built a lead as large as 18 points. UMHB capitalized on the Briton struggles from the free throw line and turnovers in the opening period. As the Britons would cut the lead to 10 in the second half, UMHB immediately responded with big buckets at the other end to keep distance from Albion.

Junior Michael Umeh was the lone Brit to finish in double figures. Umeh came off the bench to contribute 16 points on a 5 for 7 shooting effort. AJ Barden led Albion with 11 rebounds in the game. 

Both Truman King and Beck Willems turned in solid efforts defensively. The duo combined for five of Albion's seven steals. 

The Brits will be idle until a post-Christmas trip to Atlanta Dec. 29-30.
