Kubiak wins twice in men's tennis loss

ALBION – On Saturday, the Albion College men's tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision to Greenville University. Freshman Jacob Kubiak was part of both of Albion's wins on the afternoon.

At first doubles, the duo of Jacob Doyle and Josh Doyle were narrowly edged out in an 8-7, 7-3 decision. Kubiak and sophomore Brandon Blake picked up an 8-5 victory at third doubles. Kubiak later tallied a come from behind win at six singles, knocking off his opponent by a 3-6, 6-1 (10-7) score.

The team will host Spring Arbor University on Wednesday for its final tune-up before spring break. The match begins at 4 p.m.
