Hunt seat sends four to Zone Championships

ALBION – Hosting the Regional Championships, the Albion College Hunt Seat equestrian team saw three regional champions in Saturday's show. All four riders that competed will move on to the Zone 6 Championships.

Sophomore Phoebe Martin claimed Regional Champion honors in Open Fences. Following it up, Katie Woerner placed in two events. The sophomore won Regional Champion accolades in Limit Flat and took third in Limit Fences.

In Novice, sophomore Lucia Scouten was crowned the Regional Champion. Katelyn Proshek rounded out the day with Reserve Regional Champion honors in Introductory.

All four advanced to Zone Championships on Apr. 6, held at Otterbein University.
