ALBION, Mich. -- The Albion College Western Equestrian team turned in another standout performance on Saturday, sweeping both the morning and afternoon portions of the show hosted by Adrian College at the Held Equestrian Center.
The Britons claimed High Point Team honors in each with multiple top finishes across divisions and two riders securing spots at the IHSA Western Regionals in the spring.
In the morning show,
Anna Divis earned Reserve High Point Rider honors after placing second in both Open Horsemanship and Reining.
Madison Weedon also contributed valuable points with top-six finishes in Open Horsemanship and Ranch Riding, where she claimed a win.
Strong performances continued throughout the divisions. Chelsea Ramdhan led the way with a first-place ride in Beginner Horsemanship, while
Avery Vick and
Bryn Osborne each took home blue ribbons in Rookie Horsemanship (Section C) and Level I Horsemanship (Section B), respectively. Ella Farwell also notched two strong rides, placing second in Level II Horsemanship and fourth in Ranch Riding.
Vick's victory in Rookie Horsemanship clinched her qualification for regionals this spring.
The Britons carried that momentum into the afternoon show, once again taking High Point Team honors. Weedon earned Reserve High Point Rider recognition behind a win in Ranch Riding and a second-place finish in Open Horsemanship. She also qualified for regionals in Ranch Riding.
Other notable rides came from Divis, who topped Reining, and
