Men's tennis wraps up 2024 season

ALBION, Mich. – On Tuesday, the Albion College men's tennis team's season came to a close with an 8-1 over The University of Olivet. 

Albion swept the doubles competition with Jacob Doyle and Brendan Morrison winning third match at first doubles, 8-4. Malcolm and his partner, Josh Doyle, made quick work of their opponents with an 8-2 victory, before Peyton Bell and Jacob Kubiak completed the sweep with an 8-6 win. 

At first singles, Morrison won by a 6-1, 6-2 margin. Josh Doyle followed at second singles by winning 6-4, 4-6, 10-3 and Malcolm completed his collegiate career with a great 6-1, 6-2 victory at third singles. Jacob Doyle claimed a 6-3, 6-1 win at fourth singles, as Bell battled in a 6-4, 4-6, 10-5 win at fifth singles. 

An incredibly young roster had a tough few weeks, as the MIAA sports some of the best talent in the region. Tuesday's win ended the season on a positive note as the Britons can look forward to the 2024-25 season.
