WSOC ends non-conference with draw

RICHMOND, Ind. – Despite a 2-0 lead at the half, the Albion College women's soccer team settled for a draw with Earlham College on Wednesday, 2-2. The Britons wrap up non-conference play with a 1-5-2 overall record.

In the 13th minute, freshman Claire Gorno scored her team-leading third goal of the season. The goal was a beautiful one – coming off a corner from fellow freshman, Bella Fabrizio. Belle Beman added to Albion's lead late in the first half, coming off the bench and making an impact.

The Quakers cut the lead in half in the 70th minute, and found the equalizer five minutes later. Neither team was able to find the game-winner down the stretch.

Albion held the edge in shots (17-7) and corners (10-6).

On Wednesday, the Brits kick off MIAA action with a game at Trine University.
