On September 29, Team Fight Tactics Enke Saranbaatar started his ECAC debut out strong with two first place wins in Week No. 1, solidifying him as the bracket favorite.
On the same day, Super Smash Brothers Ultimate took on Buena Vista in their opening match in ECAC play, Unfortunately, Buena Vista/Bellevue had some very strong opponents and were able to take out the Britons, 0-2.
The next day, both Albion Fortnite Zero Build teams started their run in the ECAC. Both teams had great opening matches, as FN Purple (
Izahia Salas and Jose Preciado) placed 10th, 12th, 4th and had a few kills. FN Gold (
Marco Marquez and Emmanuel Rostor-Gonzalez) placed 4th, 2nd, and 23rd also getting a few kills.
Fortnite Builds started their ECAC matches on October 2. The first game went well, obtaining some kills and placing 16th, but then were killed right off the bat getting 25th and 24th in the last two games.
Super Smash Brothers Ultimate took on Valporaiso in the GLEC on October 3. Albion started off strong with a first game win but was not able to take either of the last two going down to Valporaiso, 1-2.
Tanner Armstrong took the most stocks he has yet in competition with three.
On October 6, Super Smash Brothers Ultimate in the ECAC took on Indiana University East. This was a very strong showing from the Albion team, with both
Tanner Armstrong and
George Vazquez taking out an opponent themselves in Game No. 1 and No. 2, respectively. In each game, Albion only played three out of four players and smashed Indiana-Eat, 2-0.
The next day, both Fortnite teams played. Fortnite Purple (Salas and Preciado) came out aggressive and netted almost a dozen kills but had slightly lower placement than last week, placing 15th, 15th and 21st. Fortnite Gold (Marquez and Rostor-Gonzalez) landed at the same place as a top team and got eliminated right away in games one and three, placing 23rd and 25th. Game No. 2 went much better being able to escape and get to kills placing 7th.
Marvel Rivals started their ECAC matches on October 8 against Russell Sage College. This was the first time the team had played a competitive game at Albion so there was much to learn, but it was a good experience for the team even in the 0-3 loss.
