ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Albion women's wrestling team started off their season at the Adrian Duals where they took on four different opponents in dual matches.

Despite 50-0 and 37-5 losses to Lindsey Wilson and Frostburg State, respectively, the Britons defeated Hiram, 28-10, and Point Park, 34-0, in what was Jolynn Harris' head coaching debut for Albion.

Freshman Ryleigh Ruiz was the lone Briton to win three matches, as she was also the only victor in the Frostburg State dual for Albion at 131. Her win against Hiram was a tech fall (1:25) at 124.

Making her collegiate debut, Brooklyn Sage notched two wins at 160. Naomi Grummet (145) and Paris Ford (180) also posted two victories in their first-ever collegiate matches.
