Hunt seat wins on Senior Day

ALBION – On Senior Day, the Albion College hunt seat equestrian team won its home show, scoring a season-best 38 points. Prior to the show, the Britons honored Emily Brooks and Katelyn Proshek.

Freshman Anna Huard was named High Point Rider following the show.

Huard started Albion off with a win in Open Flat. In Open Fences, Phoebe Martin took fourth for Albion. Following Martin was Katie Woerner in Intermediate Flat, finishing as the runner-up. Huard then went on to pick up her second win of the day in Intermediate Jumps.

In Limit Fences, Jacob Jaworski took home the win before a fifth place finish in Limit Flat. Also placing in Limit Flat was Rebecca Till, earning second place.

Beatrice Eng-McDonald rode to Albion's fourth win of the day in Novice, while Isabelle Adkins qualified for the Regional Championships in Novice with a third place finish. Althea Schalow was Albion's last to go and finished fifth place in Introductory.

The hunt seat team will compete at Lake Erie this weekend.
