Women's basketball falls in MIAA Semifinals

ANGOLA, Ind. – In the MIAA Semifinals, the Albion College women's basketball team fell to No. 11 Trine University, 61-34. 

Trine got out to an early 22-10 lead after the first quarter and never looked back. Emma Cooke led Albion with nine points and nine rebounds in the season finale. Before the game, Cooke was recognized by the league for her First Team All-MIAA selection. 

Albion shot just 28 percent from the field and 17 percent from beyond the arc, struggling to knock down shots. 

The Brits wrap up the season with a 12-15 record.
