Lucchesi scores 20 in loss to Comets

ALBION – Leading for most of the game, the Albion College men's basketball team dropped a tough 79-73 matchup to The University of Olivet. Fifth year senior Marco Lucchesi led Albion with his lethal mid range game, scoring 20 points.

Michael Umeh was the only other Briton to finish in double figures, adding 15 points. 

Controlling the first half, Albion was able to take a slim 35-31 lead into halftime. The teams continued to battle throughout the second half, as Olivet was relentless in the MIAA contest. With 4:12 on the clock, the Comets took the lead and were able to withstand any Albion pressure for the rest of the game. 

The Brits host Trine on Wednesday for a 7 p.m. tip.
