Game Recap: Men's Lacrosse |

Oberlin drops MLAX

OBERLIN, Ohio – A big third quarter hurt the Albion College men's lacrosse team, falling 16-6 to Oberlin College. In the third, the Yeomen scored seven goals to create distance from the Britons. 

Cal Stearns and Andrew Miller each finished with three goals for Albion. Four different players tallied an assist as well, as the Briton offense was contained by a tough Oberlin squad. 

On defense, Jack Bennett and Ethan Barker led the Brits, causing two turnovers each. Carter Kildea and Connor Laidlaw each tallied four ground balls. 

Oberlin held the edge at the faceoff X and outshot the Britons in the contest. 

Sophomore Caleb Howell totaled 16 saves. 

On Wednesday, the Britons will have their 2025 home opener against Ohio Wesleyan. Game time is set for 5 p.m.
