Elmhurst knocks off men's lacrosse

ALBION — Unable to hand Elmhurst their first loss of the season, the Albion College men's lacrosse team dropped a 14-6 contest to the Blue Jays.

Cal Stearns finished with a hat trick, as senior attacker Andrew Miller dished out a pair of assists. Miller and Logan Bride also led Albion, recording four ground balls each. 

Elmhurst put up five goals in both the second and third quarters to create distance from the Brits. The Blue Jays also were a perfect 2 for 2 on EMOs, while Albion struggled going 0 for 4. 

On Saturday, the Britons head to Carthage for a final non-conference tune up. Game time is scheduled for 12 p.m. CST.
