Four softball players received Academic All-District nods

Four members of the Albion College softball team have achieved CSC Academic All-District status, as announced on Tuesday afternoon. Recent graduates Dylan Cardinale, Kearney Miller and Rachel Horecki were joined along with rising junior Kiersten Wilkin with the honor.

The quartet was honored following solid seasons both in the classroom and on the field. Miller, Cardinale and Horecki were key pieces of the lineup this season, combining for 37 RBI. Wilkin's 11 doubles led the team and as a sophomore, she added 19 RBI.

To be selected Academic All-District, one must be a sophomore or higher in academic and athletic standing, hold a cumulative GPA of a 3.50 or better, and meet the minimum playing time requirements.
