Miller, MLAX receive academic recognition

Andrew Miller has been named the most recent Albion men's lacrosse USILA Scholar All-American. Miller becomes the ninth player in program history to earn the award.

Miller was a Second Team All-MIAA selection following a season where he recorded 34 goals and 20 assists. During the season, Miller netted two game-winning goals and three man-up goals. He was key in the team securing its sixth MIAA Tournament Championship, bookending his career with NCAA Tournament trips.

As a team, the Britons earned the USILA Academic Team Award, presented to teams with a 3.0 team GPA or better.

To earn Scholar All-America status, one must be nominated by his coach, a senior in academic standing, a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better and behaved in a manner that has brought credit to himself, his institution and to college lacrosse both on and off the field. Additionally, they must have earned all-conference accolades.
