MLAX staff, Mercier to participate in Senior All-Star game

The Albion College men's lacrosse team will be well-represented at the USILA Senior All-Star game this weekend. Head coach Jake DeCola was selected to lead the South Team and will bring recent graduate Brendan Mercier to play in the game.

DeCola was chosen to lead the South Team in Friday's game, held in Foxborough, Massachusetts. He is bringing along assistant coaches TJ Thomas and Bo Taylor to join Mercier following a senior campaign where he tallied 59 points.

Mercier enjoyed four years of being a two-sport athlete at Albion. In addition to his success on the lacrosse field, Mercier was a linebacker on the Albion football team. He becomes the first-ever offensive player from the MIAA to be selected for the North-South Senior All-Star game, and just the second in Briton history, joining Joey Tatar in 2022.

The Division III All-Star game will be played on Friday, May 23 at 4 p.m.
