MARSHALL, Mich. -- Blake Wagner and
Vaughn Rogers each shot a 75 at the first MIAA Jamboree of the fall season at Albion's new home course, Marshall Country Club, which played a par 71.
On a clear and sunny day, the duo tied for eighth among the field representing each of the conference's teams. Wagner and Rogers each recorded three birdies, while Rogers shot a 34 on the back nine -- the best nine-hole score of any Briton.
Charlie Dierkes notched a 78 to tie for 18th, while
Nicholas Giannone and
Nolan Plasencia posted 80s.
Bradley Davis posted an 81, and
Brayden Goss shot an 82 with brother, Xander, not far behind (84).
Camden Paul,
Ryan Knitter and
Matt Sypniewski each had an 85, while
Alexander Pace had a 93 in his collegiate debut.
Giannone, Davis, Wagner, Sypniewski and Paul represented the Albion A team, as they placed eighth with a score of 320. All other Britons competed as individuals. Trine (300) won the Jamboree.
