Box Score GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- After a hard, 5-0 loss to Chicago on Wednesday, the Albion men's soccer team rebounded with a 4-2 road victory over Grace Christian.
Khalil Camara got Albion on the board, as he scored in the 12th minute on a pass from
Ivan Murillo to make it 1-0.
Esteban Mercado notched his sixth goal of the season 17 minutes later on a feed from
Robin Ruigendijk to take a two-score advantage.
The Tigers tacked on a goal six minutes before the half to make it a one-goal match, but
Jasek Zielaskowski provided a 3-1 cushion in the 69th minute.
Grace Christian made it interesting once again by scoring in the 80th minute, but
Tristen Spettel snuffed any thought of a comeback with the match's final goal six minutes later.
Albion outshot the Tigers, 21-7, and
Tom Veresh made three saves in net.
