ALBION, Mich. -- For the first time in his career, Jayden Lewis has earned MIAA Wrestler of the Week honors.

In a dual meet last Thursday against Alma, the freshman pinned Vincent Provo of the Scots in 1:14 at 157 and helped propel the Britons to a 31-17 victory.

The New Carlisle, Ind. native eclipsed 100 career wins at New Prairie High School and currently has a record of 15-8 this season for Albion.

Lewis and the Britons will have a conference home dual meet against Adrian on Thursday, January 29 at 7 p.m.
