ALBION, Mich. – The Albion men's wrestling team posted a 31-14 dual meet win over Adrian under a new spotlight at Kresge Gymnasium.
The Bulldogs came into the dual ranked No. 22 in the NWCA Coaches Poll for tournament wrestling (unranked in dual wrestling).
After Adrian took the first two matches on a void and a dramatic decision between No. 13-ranked Adrian Rosas (at 125) and
Cade Odrobina at 133 that was decided on a coaches challenge in the final milliseconds, the Britons won seven of the final eight matches.
In the sequence, three wins were on tech falls, while reigning MIAA Wrestler of the Week
Jayden Lewis earned the only pin of the night for the Britons.
