MANHEIM, Pa. — The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) has announced their Men's Scholar All-American awards, recognizing outstanding academic achievement by individual student-athletes across the nation.
Peyton Brooks,
Bode Brown,
Jayden Lewis,
Cade Odrobina,
Wyatt Sieniarecki and
Owen Turnbow have each earned this recognition.
This marks Brooks's third time he has received the honor and Brown's second.
For men's wrestlers to earn Scholar All-American honors, they must have placed in the top eight at their respective regional tournament, or wrestle in at least 15 matches with a win percentage greater than 66%. All recipients must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPS, or 3.20 average over the last two semester.
A total of 473 student-athletes representing 105 institutions were recognized for their academic success in the classroom while competing throughout the season.
