ALBION, Mich. – The Albion men's tennis team delivered a dominant performance on Saturday, sweeping Manchester, 7-0.
The Britons set the tone early in doubles play, claiming all three flights to secure the opening point. At No. 1 doubles, Jacob Doyle and Josh Doyle controlled the match from start to finish in a 6-2 victory. Brady Pettit and Carter Kendall followed with a 6-2 win at second doubles.
Albion carried that momentum into singles, winning all six matches.
Carter Kendall led the way at No. 1 singles with a commanding 6-3, 6-0 victory. Alex Beard earned a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 2, and Pettit secured a 6-1, 6-2 decision in the third flight.
