ADRIAN, Mich. — The Albion Britons closed out the regular season Saturday afternoon with a high-scoring 103–94 victory over the Adrian Bulldogs.
In what turned into Albion's most explosive offensive performance of the season, the Britons battled through a tight contest before pulling away behind a dominant second half.
Albion trailed by six points at halftime but responded with an offensive outburst after the break, scoring 58 second-half points to take control down the stretch. The Britons' persistence and shooting proved to be the difference in a fast-paced matchup.
Dwayne Ray led Albion with a standout performance, finishing with 22 points while shooting an impressive 72.7 percent from the field. Kurtis Rhodes added 14 points, while Malachi Hooser II and Kameron Mayes each contributed 13 to the balanced Britons attack.
