ANGOLA, Ind. – James Grey won the triple jump to lead the Albion men's track & field team at Trine's Mrs. G Invitational.
Competing at the same site of this season's MIAA Championships, Grey earned a top 10 mark in program history with his 13.28m leap.
Logan Vining took runner-up in the mile (4:19.94), and Myles Hancock placed fifth in the 60m (6.96) – another top 10 time in school history.
Oghenefejiro Nakireru was 10
th in the 400m (53.48), while Wyatt Putney took 13
th in the 200m (23.32).
Robert Belf (2:07.75) and Dalton Weber (10:00.68) were the Britons' top finishers in the 800m and 3,000m, respectively.
Van Norman took fourth in the shot put (14.78m) to enter the top 10 in program history in the event. Jose Martinez finished 11
th with a throw of 13.27m in the weight throw, with Norman right behind in 12
th (13.19m).
In the long jump, Grey placed ninth (6.16m) and Putney's 6.10m was 10
th.
Will Monnig tied for ninth in the pole vault (4.23m).
