Bats Go Cold as Baseball’s Winning Streak Ends Against Adrian

ADRIAN, Mich. — The Albion baseball team's nine-game winning streak came to an end as they lost to Adrian, 6-0, in a game rescheduled from March 31.

The Bulldogs got on the board in the third with a four-run inning. The first run was scored with bases loaded and one out on a hit by pitch. After a strikeout, three consecutive batters were walked resulting in runs.

Albion settled the next three innings but let up two more in the seventh on a triple and single.

The Britons did not get their first base runner until the fourth inning and only had five all game. Only once did a player reach second base as well.

Max Holser and Gavin White provided the only hits for Albion, while Jack Renner took the loss on the mound. Ty Wasilenski and Brandon Lipson pitched in relief.
