HILLSDALE, Mich. — Albion women's track & field thrower Morgan Hurd competed in the discus, hammer throw and shot put at the Hillsdale Tune Up ahead of the following week's MIAA Championships.

The junior hit personal bests in the hammer (44.08m) and shot put (10.93m) as she placed third and 22nd, respectively, in those events.

Hurd also took eighth in the discus with a toss of 32.37m at her first meet since the MIAA Triangular that Albion hosted on March 27.

Hurd enters the MIAA Championships with the second-best hammer toss in the conference as well as the 11th best shot put and discus marks.
