Albion, Mich. - The Albion Women's Soccer team picks up a 3-0 victory over IU-South Bend on Senior Day.
The Britons would come out hot shooting 5-1 in the opening 14 minutes of play, with all five shots coming from different Brits.
Kelsi Green would be the first to find the net off the pass from
Mia Czarnowski in the 14th minute of play. Over the next six minutes the Britons would continue the offensive pressure as they would take five more shots. In the 23rd minute
Kelsi Green would find the net for her second goal of the day thanks to a pass from
Claire Gorno.
Ceci Irwin would get in on the action as she scored an unassisted goal in the 32nd minute. The Britons would head into half leading the Titans 3-0. The Britons would out shoot the Titans 16-6 in the opening period and would attempt eight corners to the Titans one.
The Britons would come out of the half shooting 11 shots, before the Titans would take their first of the half in the 65th minute. The Brits would once again outshoot the Titans 13-4 in the second half to secure a 3-0 senior day victory.
The Britons return to action on Wednesday September 16th as they face the Spartans of Manchester at 7:30 PM.
