Castine, Maine - The Britons dropped their opening game of their weekend trip 0-1 to Maine Maritime.
The Britons offense came out strong, with seven shots in the open half. Their defense all proved to be strong as they only allowed Maine Maritime to take two shots.
Coming out of the half both teams had quick shots, however the second shot for Maine Maritime would find the back of the net. Despite the Britons taking six more shots after that, they were unable to find the back of the goal. The Britons allowed just two shots on goal throughout the duration of the game.

Mary Coburn, and
Eva Armbruster all had two shots for the Britons, while five others also attempted shots.
The Britons conclude their weekend trip Saturday September 5th at 5PM as they take of Maine-Farmington.
