Brett has achieved distinction on the MIAA’s Academic Honor Roll in her first three seasons at Albion...A first team all-MIAA pick in 2014.

Finished second on Albion's all-time scoring ladder with 1,249 points and the 450 points she scored with the 2013-2014 season were the second-most in a season at Albion.

2012-2013: The MIAA’s third-leading scorer at 16 points per game, she achieved distinction on the all-league second team...Finished sixth in the league from the free throw line at 78 percent (85 of 109) and tied for ninth in assists...Scored in double figures 20 times and was Albion’s leading scorer in 16 contests...Ripped off nine 20-point games, including a career-high 30 against Michigan Dearborn and 23 in MIAA contests against Alma, Adrian, and Saint Mary’s.

2011-2012: Scored in double figures 11 times, including four consecutive December games...Selected as the MIAA’s Player of the Week in January after she scored 26 points in the win at Saint Mary’s...Scored in double figures in all three games against Hope, collecting 17 in the loss at home.

2010-2011: A starter in 15 games, including the last 11…Scored in double figures in three consecutive MIAA games in January by shooting 59 percent (16-of-27) from the field…Scored in double figures in two of the three games against Olivet, including 17 (5-9 FG, 4-4 FT) in the first round of the MIAA Tournament…Shot at least 50 percent from the field nine times, including a 6-of-8 performance at Kalamazoo and 6-of-10 in the home game against Trine

Prior to Albion: Played basketball and soccer at Salem High School…Played basketball for Coach Fred Thoman…Achieved all-division honorable mention in 2008 and was an all-Kensington Lakes Activities Association selection in 2010…Recipient of the Female Athlete of the Year award.

Personal: An English major with a minor in history and a concentration in secondary education...Enjoys being outside, reading and watching movies…Earned a varsity award as a member of the women’s soccer team in 2011...Daughter of Robert and Jane de Bear.
