What made you choose Albion for college/basketball? I chose Albion because it was the first place I visited and I really liked the size of the campus. I came and saw a practice during season and loved how loud the gym was and how close the whole team was. Everyone lifted each other up and that was the kind of atmosphere I wanted to be around. And the coaches are really awesome and are really involved in all the practices. I just got this family feel when I stepped on campus and I loved it.
What is/are your favorite things about Albion? I like how the professors are really personal able and will open up their schedule to help you whenever you need it. And I love how close everyone is. People here are so nice!

What did you (will you be) work on this off-season?: Changing my shot so it becomes more consistent. Apparently I need more swag (as coach said) or confidence when I play, so I'll be working on that!
What are your expectations for your upcoming season?: My expectations for this season are to work really hard and improve my game, making myself better and the people around me too. I want to have fun and get even closer with my team.
What is the significance of your jersey number (if you have one)?: When I was in middle school my favorite MSU women's basketball player (Brittney Thomas) had the number #20. So ever since 7th grade I was #20 because I wanted to be like her. It's a good number.
What is your pre-competition ritual?: I usually just try and focus on what I need to do that game to help the team be successful. I stretch and listen to music and try and stay mentally focused.
Who is your sports hero?: Michael Jordon

Favorite High School Athletics Memory: It was my senior year against our rivals, which were ranked 4th in the state. My high school wasn't ranked and the previous time we played them we lost by 39 points. We ended up leading by seven going into the second half of the game. And what was really exciting was our huge student section stood up for the rest of the game and they never do that for our games. At the end of the fourth quarter I got fouled and had to make these free throws to secure our lead. I made the first one and the second I missed, but we were up by four. They had only a few seconds left, and the clock ran out and we won! Our team and coaches ran out onto the court, the parents and students went crazy. I don’t think I’ll ever forget that game.
