2019: Her 83 blocks were eighth-most on Albion's single season list...Was chosen for Albion's top-necomer of the year by the coaching staff...Finished third in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association with 33 blocks in the eight regular season matches...Knocked down eight blocks in the regular season match against Saint Mary's and in the MIAA Tournament first round victory over Alma...Produced nine kills while hitting .412 in a three set non-league match at Earlham...Her high in kills in a MIAA match was seven (while hitting .700) in the tournament semifinal match at Calvin.

Personal: Tabbed as Pleasant Valley’s Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year for the 2018-2019 academic year, she was a middle blocker for the volleyball program that won three league and two sectional championships…Named the Enterprise Record Athlete of the Year for Pleasant Valley, received two Lady Viking awards and was the volleyball team captain as a senior…A four-year member of the track & field team…Lists traveling and experiencing different cultures as an interest and she plans to make a study abroad experience part of her academic plan at Albion…A Business Management major and Spanish minor, who is a member of Albion’s Carl A Gerstacker Institute for Business and Management and the Wilson Institute for Medicine…Daughter of Steve Hitchko and Lisa Martens.
