Biography
HIGH SCHOOL
- Earned four letters in volleyball at Milan High School for coaches Kathy Bradshaw, Makenna Slack and Phil Hayes
- Helped the Big Reds to a third-place finish in the MHSAA Tournament in 2023 with district and regional titles along the way
- Also helped the Big Reds to a district championship in 2022 after racking up 250 kills (4.1/set), 40 blocks, 125 digs and a .920 serve percentage
- Two-time all-region and All-Huron League selection
- Earned all-state honors and was a team captain as a senior
- Received the Monroe News Monroe County Region Girls Athlete of the Year award in 2023 following her sophomore year and was a finalist for the award as a junior and senior. She was the first Milan girls athlete to ever receive the award
- Also lettered in basketball, soccer and track & field
- Was Team MVP in basketball as a junior
- Averaged 8.6 points and 7.0 steals per game as a sophomore
- Helped the Big Reds win the Huron League in soccer as a sophomore, contributing five goals and two assists despite picking up the sport in high school
- Was the region and Huron League champion in the high jump as a sophomore while placing eighth at the MHSAA Championships to earn all-state honors
- Named all-region in the 400m and 4x200m relay as a senior
- Team captain for two years
- Maintained a 4.1 GPA
PERSONAL
- Daughter of Jamaine and Heather Wourman
- Has a younger brother, Jaxen, who is her "Irish twin"
- Played club for Huron Valley Volleyball Club
- Majoring in psychiatry
- Aspires to become a psychiatrist
- Favorite athlete is Sha'Carri Richardson
- Lists her best friend as her biggest influence, "because she understands me more than anyone and is always able to give me good advice or support when I need or ask"
